"Wonderful week in Paradise"

"We are the other couple referred to by Richard A. so won't repeat the all the details in his review. We were most impressed with how Capt. John was totally in calm control throughout the trip and knew each of the beautiful spots to go to maximize our pleasure. He also knew how to make each of us comfortable where ever we went, especially the one person who was more cautious on the water, providing an air mattress and kayak for her comfort. Susan was a superb chef, serving up tantalizing meals each day. Susan wants to be informed of each food-related detail beforehand, even if you make your own afternoon coffee yourself. We were able to assist the sailing as much as we liked, sometimes relaxing instead. Following beautiful fish and turtles while snorkeling, kayaking ashore to view the Baths on Virgin Gorda, feeling the occasional splash while sailing close to the wind toward Scrub Island, all made for a wonderful experience. Even saw some fire dancers while having dinner at the Last Resort near Beef Island. John and Susan definitely know how to take care of everyone and handle every contingency, making us all feel very safe throughout."

"Two retired couples from Brooklyn NY, all experienced sailboat owners spent a delightful week aboard Sea Witch, a classic large sailboat. Each couple had a private cabin with head(bathroom). John and Susan own the boat, are extremely capable and personable and welcome you warmly as guests. Susan will customize menus to your needs-she was a chef in her own restaurant for five years-every meal was a delight to see and taste. We moored/anchored in scenic bays at St. Johns, Norman's Cay, Beef Island/Tortola (Marina Cay), Virgin Gorda (The Baths), Peter's Island and Buck Island. Each Bay was an occasion for Susan to lead us on a wonderful reef snorkel, followed by margaritas, gourmet dinner and evenings of conversation and stories. John and Sea Witch have had some off-season adventures all right! John is an excellent captain- he readily let the two husbands have the helm ( keeping a calm watchful eye on us). We were all four guests active daily but with time to relax; each of us read all or most of a novel that week. A delightful week ! This is perfect for non- boaters as well as old salts; close to pure bliss..."

"Awesome experience"

"We had a wonderful time on our one week cruise on Sea Witch in the Virgin Islands. Captain John and First Mate Susan are a pleasure to travel with. John knows the waters there like the back of his hand and Susan is a world class chef, whipping up terrific meals in a galley that seems far too small for most people to make a peanut butter sandwich. They are both dedicated to providing guests with a wonderful experience, and obviously enjoy interacting with their clients. Our cruise was more like a trip with close friends. The boat itself is spacious, comfortable and very well maintained. We would go back tomorrow."

"Looking for a vacation filled with fabulous activities, sunshine, sailing and delicious food? Aboard Sea Witch you will be with John and Susan, knowledgeable of Caribbean waters, eager to snorkel, fish, hike and involve you with sailing. They listened to our desires and designed a memorable vacation that our teenagers thoroughly enjoyed, along with their parents. We snorkeled with turtles, octopus, colorful fish, hiked to the bubbly baths and saw goats, hermit crabs and nests of termites. White sandy beaches and sunny Caribbean days were filled touring island sights, enjoying beach bars and relaxing when we were not sailing. Our children were also able to complete their dives and earn their scuba license. Daily, Susan prepared delicious meals and served refreshing island beverages. She incorporates local fruits and vegetables and sets her table with a nautical theme. John and Susan are a safety conscious, fun loving couple that graciously include you into their home/sailboat, the Sea Witch, providing everyone a vacation of a lifetime. Can't wait to return!"

"Beautiful Boat, Beautiful Location, Beautiful Hosts"

"As a family, we decided to make the holidays more about experiences and less about gifts. How fortunate we were to come across the Sea Witch while researching sail boats in the US and British Virgin Islands. We coordinated our charter with Susan over 9 days in December and visited various islands throughout the area. Our hosts Captain John and Susan were so incredibly kind, knowledgable and gracious. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the Sea Witch and its character and grace, to the cuisine (still can't imagine how Susan cooked everything in that tiny galley!!), to the confidence we had in Capt John, to the careful attention to details - it was all first class! We quickly felt like old friends and appreciated all the consideration to our happiness. One of the best family vacations we've ever experienced - hope to do it again!"
